The Elementals

2000 years after society was brought to ruin by a freak radiation leak, society has finally found its way back to stability, but with a twist. The after-effects of the radiation on the survivors meant that mankind had to undergo dramatic changes to survive. It was now the norm to have powers based on the four elements: air, fire, earth, and water. Some were born with more power than others and in order to control this, a new order was made placing all born in institutions to control and use their powers and the ones who did it best rose to the top and gained fame and powers, those deemed useless were pushed down to the working class. One day, however, a lightning wielder is born, throwing society into chaos again.
