I will and am trying my best to keep the writing style and lore close to how Tui. writes it to make it feel more like you are reading a real continuation of her books. It is deliberately made a 1000 years later so her characters and mine don't overlap even incase she continues writing and publishes new books. Wings of Fire story! My name is Moon. I live in a world where everyone is tested. From the age sixteen to eighteen. In truth, you test yourself everyday the moment you find out what the world has come to. You test youself wondering if you're strong enough, smart enough, or brave enough. But most of all to see if you will do the right thing in the darkest times. Your eighteenth birthday is the biggest day of your life. The day you find out if you will fight, or die. Fear engulfs your body every waking moment, the very thought of death makes people lose hope, and it almost did for me too. And in those final moments, when you really don't know if you will live, you wonder, is dying now worse than living in something you hate so much. Do I live for something I despise? But as bad as it is, Jellyfish has a mostly normal teenage life. Friends to hang out and laugh with, school to keep her occupied, and the constant desire to love and go to parties. It really couldn't get worse, right? It did, though. Danger and hatred swoop in on two wings into Jellyfish's life, and it will never, ever be the same. Plus a really creepy prophecy. We love those.
