Nadia cannot fully recall why she is in the maze. She has most of her memories but can't recall why she was sent up. Put into the maze as punishment she lives the life she had to put others through for years. Directly facing the action of her consequences while trying to figure out what her actions exactly were. Nadia strives to keep her actions a secret while being able to access her memories while the others can't.
