In a world where magic manifests in the forms of Elementals, the world renown Primrose Academy is the only institution in which Elementals are given the training that they need to forge a successful future.

In this academy, students from all over the world congregate to learn one thing and one thing only-how to beat each other for the entertainment of others. Elementals are seen as nothing but manual labors, maybe historians and writers, but there is always a sharp distinction between those of human blood and those of Elemental blood.

Lana Potentia is an enigma. She showed up out of nowhere and seems to know more about the school and its students than most are comfortable with. What hides behind those amber eyes of hers?

Reed Joulin is a champion. He won the most prestigious Elemental competition of the year-the Dancing of the Elements. But at a heavy cost.

Cole Wrenger is a pining man. His heart was broken ten years ago, and the only way to numb the pain is to throw himself head-first into his new fate of becoming the number one Elemental of the year. If that's possible.

Fiera Flame has her own agenda. Ace her exams and claw her way to one of the top spots of the academy. Then she could escape the festering life she leads and get everything that she deserves.

Elemental magic is based upon the four core elements - Earth, Air, Fire and Water. Elemental magic is most prominent in England, where many mages gather to learn and research elemental magic. However, during the early 1500's, the Fire Outbreaks happened. Several various fire mages suddenly swept through and destroyed the smaller cities of England, killing many in their way and leaving no survivors. Due to this the Council of Magic, the governing figure of elemental magic, issued an act - The Anti-Fire Act. This effectively banned any and all use of fire magic within all of England. The Council of Magic was later changed to the Triumvirate in the 1540's, and from then on are set on killing off every last fire mage. Allen Fleming, a 15 year old air mage, wishes to attend the Magical Knights Academy. The academy is where many young, prominent mages attend to improve their use of magic, and eventually become a magical knight. Magical knights are the respected mages who protect the cities of England and keep its citizens safe. But in order to even attend the academy, Allen must first pass the entrance exam. However, Allen's magic is extremely weak and he relies mostly on his physical fighting ability. Air is considered the strongest element within England, and with his lack of air magic prowess, many mages hate and ignore him.
