Lumine is wandering around Tevyat, a mysterious world of Seven Nations ruled by seven Archons, each with a unique element. Phoenix is her traveling companion along with the floating Emergency Food, Paimon.
Before they joined forces, Phoenix was fending for herself, disguised as a spy from Khaenri'ah, a fallen nation she is destined to save. So when she finds a lead from a certain bard in Mondstadt, she is determined to follow it, even if that means joining the Fatui, a notorious organization known in Tevyat for stirring up trouble whenever they go.
What will happen next? Will she discover the truth about her past? And what happens when war breaks out in Tevyat? Who will Phoenix side with?

It was a normal day for Lumine. Well, as normal as it can be with abyss mages and hilichurls attacking her path to Sumeru as Paimon kept complaining about how slow they were. Really, she just wanted to find her brother again and ask him why he joined the abyss. Is that too much to ask? Apparently, it is because after killing a hydro abyss mage, a black hole appeared below her which swallowed both her and Paimon and brought them to a large room filled with both familiar and unfamiliar people with a bear who claimed to show them her travels, both the past and the future.
