The year is 1997 and Brunnhilde is stressed. Vers is gone, Sakaar is a planet of the past, and her family of two has grown to five: a child, a bug, a rock, and a stranger. The journey to Asgard is only two years away- but that's if you're chill with cutting across Xandar in the middle of a bloody war- which Brunnhilde isn't.

It turns out, she doesn't have a choice anymore.

(The story of how Carol and Brunnhilde (Valcarol) met, fell in love, and got together as told by Brunnhilde through a series of fun/ domestic Girls' nights)

The people of Asgard are looking for a new home. They get a warm welcome on Earth, except for Loki. He is treated like a criminal of war, a terrorist. All they see in him is darkness. But there is a light, if she is up for the task. "Nooo I don't want it to end!!!! [...] This has been my motivation to get my uni coursework done so I can read. [...] Was great hun, well done to you." - @MistyB1989, from the United Kingdom. "This book was so good I can't even begin to describe how well written it was. Everything about was just so good. Thanks for blessing me with this book." - @allegedlyjasmin "Amazing book! Had me invested the entire book!" - @GLiTcH_GaMiNg, from Australia Fragment: At that moment, the door to the apartment swings open and a man barges in. He is holding something that looks like a big syringe in his hands. "Yoohoo... Reindeer games! You home? I've got something for you!" The man stops in his tracks when he spots us sitting on the couch. "I'm sorry, I didn't realise we had company. And beautiful company at that, I might say. What's your name, beautiful? Do you have clearance? Williams, does she have clearance?" [...] Tony Stark walks over to me and takes my hand, standing just a little closer than necessary. "Nice to meet you, mr Stark." I reply, taking my hand back gingerly. [...] From the corner of my eye I can see that Loki has turned his chair to face the room, watching the exchange between me and Tony Stark with a hint of a smile on his face. I get the sense that there's not much that gets past the Trickster. Mr. Stark has already moved on, walking towards Loki. He is holding up the syringe like it's a Super Soaker gun, waving it back and forth. "This will only hurt a little, Bambi!" Tony laughs. First published February 2018. Edited april 2018.
