Belladonna Barnes

She was the reason Bucky enlisted. When she was fourteen, a German bomb plane flew over their house. The explosion killed their father, gave their mother serious injuries and paralyzed Belladonna. That year, Bucky enlisted (and was actually drafted but he was so eager to fight) and joined the 107th infantry. Two years later, the devastating train incident happened. A few days later, Hydra broke down the Barnes' door and held the mother and daughter at gunpoint. Right before Belladonna's eyes, her mother was slaughtered. The Red Skull took mercy on Belladonna after seeing her frail state, if 'mercy' is what you call endless days of torturous operations to 'fix' her.
