Daniel and you have been friends since he moved to California. Throughout your friendship, unspoken feelings grew between you, yet you kept them hidden. Living in a rough neighborhood with an unstable home life, one of the few outlets for solace was engaging in physical altercations. These fights often spiraled out of control, leading to frequent incarcerations. However, one particular incident crossed a line, resulting in a thirty-year prison sentence.
The first few chapters take place in the 80s and the rest modern day. Also the timeline isn't the exact same as it is in the movies (or cobra kai)
