The world ended some time ago, long enough that I've forgotten what life before felt like. Your heart was empty, it has been for 15 years and you kept coming back to that same old place you were told to stay. On the same day, 15 years later, a 'supposedly' typical day of waiting for the loved ones in your past, your path crossed with a beautiful Latina sitting on a bench not that far away from where you are. That changed the course of your life.
