This was wrong. Bradley knew it. This was not supposed to make his heart flutter and his head go blurry. He was not supposed to allow his breath to catch when Max let slip the quietest moan, nothing more than his voice mingling with the air in his lungs. He was not supposed to long for Max's hands to move down his face to his shoulders, his chest, his waist, and use his own hands to pull Max in closer and breathe him in.

It was supposed to disgust him. It was wrong.

But... it didn't feel wrong.
***
About to begin his second semester of college, Max tries desperately to understand Bradley's unexplained, ongoing resentment towards him, while Bradley attempts to understand the glaring lack thereof.

This is a human AU fanfiction that I had been posting on Ao3 but decided to publish here too just for kicks.

!!!TW for graphic depictions of eating disorders, and some discussions of past s/a!!!

Also this cover art is not mine, it was just the first thing that popped up when I searched Maxley on pinterest.

Charles Xavier has just transfered to the University of Oxford. Mr. Erik Lehnsherr has just started another year of his teaching job as a History Professor. But Professor Lehnsherr has a darkness to him, a darkness that spikes Charles' fancy even though he would never admit it. Charles may Walk The Line. But, can Mr. Lehnsherr?
