"Sorry?" Alessandro cut him off, his voice dripping with disdain. "Sorry doesn't fix the fact that you put your filthy hands where they didn't belong. You should have known better."
The man's eyes widened in terror as Alessandro stepped closer, the sound of his polished shoes echoing off the cold concrete floor. He tried to crawl backward, but there was nowhere to go.
"You made one unforgivable error," Alessandro continued, his voice growing colder with each word. "You thought you could touch what's mine."
He crouched down, his face inches from the man's. "No one touches Isabella Rossi. No one even looks at her with bad intentions and lives to tell the tale. Do you understand?"
The man nodded frantically, tears streaming down his face. "Please, I won't-I'll never-"
Alessandro's lips curled into a smile, but it was devoid of any warmth. "You won't do anything. Because you won't be breathing long enough to make another mistake".
