It is written in a way people who never played the game (or never read the quests) can understand it as any other fantasy story.

She finds friends in the warehouse but 3 months later, she is on a journey to find her brother and send him away for his own safety and go to Los Angeles to join the rebellion with the girl that once hated her and the first friend she made in the warehouse. Along the way, they discover the truth of why they have the abilities they have, the reason behind The WildFires, and what the labs that put them through hell has actually done. As romances grow and situations start to evolve, the only question on her mind is can she save the only family she has left?

Along with her best friend, and other accumulated survivors their path has crossed with, they take a journey across the country to get away from the terror of the dead -- and the living. Warning: this is the old version (which you hopefully realized by the title). The new version is very much different, much more thought out and outlined. It hasn't been posted yet (still needs to be written and then lots of revising). I'd say enjoy this version while it's still posted... but honestly, it's rather rocky as I sort of jumped into the book without a plan, clear plot, or anything.
