After the new king of Jerusalem, Alaric  took over, the black plague did as well. 
In a horrified panic that everyone may die a gruesome death, he prays to the lord, feeling as if only the lord himself may save him.

Shortly after his panicked prayers, an angel comes into the midst, disguised as a human.

Jasadiah Sedona, a young angel, hides himself as a knight. Pursuing his job to secretly heal everyone in the village. Despite the horror and the death, Jasadiah keeps his peace in protecting everyone.
