Betrayal is like a bridge burned to ash-a passage once open to many, but never to return. Or like a storm on a clear day-unexpected, leaving only broken branches and memories of what once was. Eliana knew betrayal all too well. She knew that everything can be perfect, almost too perfect-until it's not. Now, with a prophecy hanging over her and the weight of the ocean pressing down, Eliana, a Siren in a kingdom ruled by gods, faces the ultimate test of trust. Determined to break free from her fate, Eliana sets out to pay off a debt on her own terms. She makes deals with questionable allies, ventures into unfamiliar lands, and faces enemies she never expected. But in a realm with three Sea Gods, her destiny is tied to only one-a god who avoids her like a plague. The prophecy says she's fated to either ruin him or make him more powerful than ever. She will forge her own path, rewrite her fate, and decide who is worthy of her trust. But it's the betrayals she cannot see coming that threaten to drown her.

Before we know it, humans and mer will be at war. Again. What if it spreads to all mythical creatures? But how can Luke and Heidi stop this before it's to late?
