Violet Kelsea is one of Hybe's most successful translators, working very closely with the world's biggest boyband: BTS. Life is pretty beautiful for the small spunky translator, and she is completely fine with the work intensive, stressful life she leads. It may not leave time for many extracurriculars, but she wouldn't have it any other way.

After a stressful concert mishap leaves Violet on edge, she winds up tangled in her sheets with none other than Bangtan's rap king: Min Yoongi. After a one night stand turns into two, Violet is determined not to overthink it and let it go. However, when an ugly part of her past surfaces again and she finds herself in need of a distraction, she finds herself breathless in his bed again.

With her past still breathing down her neck, and Bangtan working harder than ever on their first comeback album after military service, the pair strike a deal: unlimited, unattached, satisfying sex whenever either of them wants, as long as they follow five rules. They are both satisfied with the arrangement, following the rules and enjoying one another's company often to escape the pressures of their lives.

However, when Violet has to confront her past and the people that come with it, Yoongi offers to tag along as her trusty "distraction", spending a whole week with her on a beautiful island. As the trip grows steadily closer and the pair begin to open up and rely on each other, the lines carefully established in their rules begin to grow blurry.

Will breaking the rules cause their arrangement and their new formed friendship to fall apart? Or will they decide to throw out the rules completely, allowing the arrangement to become something more than it was intended to be?
