Season one
Elena Kartizen was a normal pretty girl; not so 'normal' if you think being friends with Stiles Stilinski and Scott McCall can down your reputation status, though. You see, they met when Elena ran away from her abusive father. Her father, Jona Moliere, was an alcoholic. He would come home late drunk and frustrated after a long day at work. He eventually got fired for his drinking problems and harassing a girl at his work, which just led him to drink more and be more dangerous. He began to hit Elena and her mother, Anne Kartizen.
One evening, Elena decided she wanted to run away. Elena carried guilt of leaving Anne stuck with her father as she ran, even though she told her mum about it beforehand, and she agreed.
Once Elena made it to Beacon Hills, she ran into Scott McCall, who was with his mother, Melissa, driving home from school. They cared for Elena.
Sooner or later, Anne showed up at Beacon Hills, thanked Scott and Melissa before she took Elena back into her care and they started a new life in Beacon Hills.

Teen wolf fan fic (mainly stiles) big inspiration from the book 'Fake Friends' but not exactly, you guys should go read that too! This is based off season 3A, so don't read if you haven't watched it :) Also I would like to say (based off the description) everyone is beautiful no matter the shape, size, and or color.
