Eoin a troubled young man reunites with an old friend from year's past after falling on hard times while in the grips of a depression from the death of his mother and just after suffering an ankle injury and starts to have hallucinations from what he thinks is from some undiagnosed disorder.

Alana, after returning to her home town after spending years away at college reunites with her childhood friend only to discover he'd changed with something seeming to be stalking him from the shadows.

Franky who is Eoin's former best friend has tried to move on from their friendship after being continually mistreated by him and Eoin's withdrawal from everyone and what seems like his former friend's downward spiral into madness, but it isn't until he meets Alana when everything changes as he's pulled back into Eoin's life at her behest and what seems to be her own insanity as she tells him about the things she sees lurking around his home.
