Dr. Jacob Dwight was an extraordinary person. He was the leading scientist in the Pegasus Project, which was a project to cure any kind of diseases. Dr. Dwight has been through a lot of tragedy. Not only did his parents die, but also his wife and two sons. The only one left in his world is his 16-year-old daughter, Meadow. When his wife was in her deathbed, she made him promise that nothing would happen to their daughter. But a few days after Meadow turned 16, she was struck down with a really bad fever. She lost the ability to walk and was going really thin from lack of eating. That is why Dr. Dwight created the Pegasus Project. To save his daughter. All ten of Meadow's best friends became the tests subjects because they loved Meadow very much and she was everything to them. All of them were missing some sort of limb and they thought that Dr. Dwight's cure will regenerate their limbs--and it did exactly just that: regenerate them. But a few days after, the subjects started doing zombie-like behavior. They all soon escape and kill and infect everyone in the compound, only Dr. Dwight was the only survivor. Dr. Dwight escaped, leaving him and a bunch of teenagers to find the real cure before the entire world is infected in 365 days.
