Strays are considered as the second human beings with extraordinary abilities, na hindi kayang gawin ng isang normal na tao. Mga nilalang na gumagamit ng Core, ang librong nagtataglay ng mahika sa mundo na ikinonsiderang sumpa.
Walang nakakaalam o nakapagtutukoy kung paano sila nagkaroon ng ganitong kakayahan pero nagiging taliwas sila sa takbo ng lipunan.
At isa ako sa tinatawag na di pangkaraniwang tao. Isang Stray.

Never in my life did I ever think I'd be reincarnated. As far as I'm aware, being able to reincarnate means being good in your previous life, and being given a chance to restart your life anew. Although I don't consider myself particularly good, I'm not bad either. I simply existed somewhere in between. Regardless, I never expected to wake up inside a fantasy novel! And not just any novel, but a "dark romance", as my sister would call it. The kind with an obsessive male lead willing to go to any lengths to protect his delicate, soft-spoken heroine. Even if it meant murder. I had read the story before, and yes, it was undeniably cliché. But now, I find myself trapped within said story, cast as the villain, destined to meet my end at the hands of the possessive, and dangerously unhinged male lead. I can't tell if this world despises me or if it's offering me a twisted kind of opportunity. But one thing is for certain: I have to survive. And I need to find a way out.
