I looked up from my feet and into the eyes of my mate, his red eyes searching my face and eyes for something. I sniffed and felt the first few tears stream down my face, I felt so disappointed in myself. How could I have been so stupid and believe he was someone else's. He's mine.
His thumb wiped across my cheek and I felt warmth and some kind of tingles or sparks follow his touch across my face, I closed my eyes and leaned into his chest. I didn't want to be out of his embrace. "Why are you crying?" He asked and I felt my heart shatter, he sounded so worried, so sincere. I wanted to tell him I was fine, but I just couldn't. I breathed deeply, inhaling his masculine scent "because I thought you were hers." He hugged me and his arms wrapped tightly around my shoulders, holding me even closer to him. I sighed sadly and contently, I just hope he wants to be mine as much as I want to be his.
"If I were hers then you wouldn't be mine, but too bad you are mine and she isn't. Understand?" He grumbled lightly and I nodded into his chest. I was inhaling his scent as deeply as I could, committing his smell to memory. I couldn't bare the thought of not being with him.
"Your mine, forever and always. No one else can have you, I will never share" He said and I giggled. At least he liked me back.

And I will have you to myself which means you are going to join me and my pack" he said and I shook my head "j-just reject me and none of this has to happen" I whispered and he growled sliding his other hand down my stomach. "Don't test me mate" he said and I gasped as he grabbed me "you belong to me now so like I said before. Go home and pack your bags" he said and I just shook my head "I don't want to leave my pack-" "To-fucking-bad" he said "I let you go twice. I quickly shut my eyes tightly so he couldn't use his power against me. There was no point in running, I was already injured, already weak. A cold, dark laugh filled the room, sending a shiver down my spine. "My, my, look how afraid you are, my Sera," he mocked. I could feel him getting closer, his presence suffocating. Suddenly, he yanked my hair back, hard. I screamed in pain, but I refused to open my eyes. "Be my good girl and open your eyes, Seraphina," he commanded, his voice low and dangerous. "Never," I growled in defiance. I couldn't believe the Moon Goddess had mated me to this monster. I despised him. Every inch of my soul hated him. "Give me all the pain you want, but I will never obey you," I spat, my voice filled with hatred. He chuckled darkly. "Then, as you wish," he murmured. I barely had time to process his words before sharp pain pierced my neck. His fangs sank into my flesh with full force, tearing through my skin.
