Danny Loomis left Woodsboro to escape the black mark on his name, but news travels fast and soon the entire student body of Livingston College is talking about him and his family of killers.

Charlotte Kincaid is an outspoken, curious, rebellious, and headstrong film student who loves true crime. And she is fascinated by Danny from the get go. Not because of his name, but because she is genuinely curious to get to know the boy who comes from such a dark history.

When a slew of copycat murders begins to litter the campus, and the school is put into lockdown, Danny is suspect number one. Meanwhile Charlotte works hard to prove his innocence all while dealing with a stalker and an ever-growing lust for a man in a mask.
