Fuelled by his retribution, he vowed to make her life hell. Unbeknownst to him, she wasn't the one to mess with. A part of her that thrived was hidden beneath the shadows, in the dark silence of nights.

He, the "Lucifer" was vicious. Watching people quiver beneath his gaze, pleased him. What happens when he gets a taste of his own medicine? He wove a trap, and she fell right into it. Or, was there something more to it?

Destruction is the only word that could suffice each of them. One was lethal, the other was feral. It was a battle, a fierce one at that. What was the outcome? As usual, flames succumbed to tides.

He was drawn to her, like a moth to flame. He hated it as much as he liked it. He craved for it the more he despised it. The one who was always in charge, felt his guards shattering. A part of him buried long back, was resurfacing but this time, for her.

He fell in love, fell too deep until it wasn't love anymore. It was devotion, and he was vehemently devoted. But, it was too late for a realization. The weight of his actions, and his mistakes was too much to bear for the fragile bubble of happiness they'd created. And before he knew it, the bubble burst, leaving her caught up in the clutches of desolation.

He'd hurt her, in more ways than one. Broken beyond repair, she strived to heal herself and strike back, stronger than ever before. She wasn't the one to forget, after all. She neither forgot nor forgave, she punished, rather brutally. But one of her culprits was him. The man she bore her heart to, laid her soul bare for.

Yet, he was ready to embrace death, if it meant being in her arms again. It was his journey from Perpetration to Penance, Retribution to Redemption. Would she let him in, or let herself drown in despair?
