Val, once reckless and now a recluse, and Ash, the shy, determined nerd, attempt to break Val's supposed curse through a ritual with Val's mute sister, Molly. As the three form a band to give voice to their pain and aspirations, strange occurrences begin; from toads in lockers to cryptic messages.
