Always Been You- Eli Moskowitz

Michelle Diaz has always been super close to her twin brother Miguel, regardless of his lack of popularity. But will this recent move to a new school, a new hobby, and a couple of new friends ultimately strain their relationship or make them stronger?

"Are you scared of me?" He asked tentatively, truly afraid of her answer.

Michelle didn't respond. Instead her eyes fixed themselves on the ground and her fingers tapped her thighs nervously. After what she witnessed that morning in the dojo, she knew he was dangerous. But wasn't that the word they were using to describe her too?

Her silence was the only answer he needed. She was scared of him. He knew it. He just didn't want to believe it.

"Michelle.. I would never hurt you. You have to know that," he said quietly as he closed the gap between them. As he now stood inches from her, he pushed some of her hair out of her face and behind her ear. His hand lingering to caress her cheek gently.

"Please know that," he said softly almost in a whisper. It was like he was pleading with her, begging her to believe him. Michelle finally looked up at him, their faces only inches apart. A part of her wanted to push him away from her and run to find comfort in her brothers embrace as the fear rushed through her body making her shiver. The other part of her begged her to stay, pulling her in like the strongest magnet with no regard for her safety. Could all of this really be that bad if Eli Moskowitz was taking part in it?

Against her better judgement, she nodded.
