Seventeen-year-old Lola Trimble finds solace in the pages of her books-her ultimate escape from the mundane. Living in her new home with her tight-knit, slightly chaotic family, she finds refuge in reading. With her own room for the first time, she's surrounded by the characters and worlds she loves. But when her cousin Ingrid and sister Zoey drag her to Muse Cafe, a cozy coffee shop just down the street, Lola's carefully constructed world begins to unravel. A mysterious boy, a spark of something new, and suddenly, the girl who thought she knew everything about life realizes that some of the best stories aren't written-they're lived.

Later, we might decide that it doesn't exist or that it is lost beyond the pursuit. But then, one fine day it falls right in to your lap without even calling out for it. And when you have it right there with you, you don't know what exactly you should do with it. That is what happens with love most of the times. It gets found at the most unlikely times in the most unexpected ways. Leaving you confused about how to deal with it. And by the time you figure it out, it might have vanished. The two persons I fell in love with; One, who promised me a forever and gave up on me the half way. The other, who gave me everything except the promise of a forever.
