Enchanting

As a Ravenclaw, I always knew the best tactics for making friends. Give them gifts, compliment them, the works really. But it was different in practice, especially with the Slytherins. I had befriended a few, for instance, Pansy Parkinson was easy if you just pretended you worshiped the ground she walked on. That sucker will do anything for you. Daphne Greengrass was a bit harder, she couldn't be swayed with gifts or nice things, you had to keep at it with her, and even she cracked like most did. But not them. Never them...

Things at Hogwarts are different this year and I can feel it. With the Dark Lord back, danger lurks around every corner even more so for me. With a target on my back and a new power festering deep inside me, I must lean on two unexpected friends to get through this year. If the dark lord gets his hands on whatever he wants from me, the consequences could be staggering. As I try to navigate this school year they're always there, helping and supporting me. Will my friendship with these two boys get in the way of my safety? Or will it blossom into something more?
