The band soon skyrockets in popularity, and their classmates are unaware that they love listening to their peers' music.

It's the last week of middle school and Christy is very excited because she is going to be a high school student! Christy is very close to her older brother, Liam. And then, her big brother, Liam, turns 16 years old and hold a huge birthday party with his friends which is so much fun! At Riverway High School, Christy meets a lot of new friends. Christy and her friends really want to be famous but Georgina and her friends, also known as the popular kids, are so annoying! Christy and her friends decided to form a band called "Unshaken" with the hope that they can be famous! But Christy doesn't know how to play guitar and turns out, her older brother, Liam is a musical genius and he is willing to teach his little sister, Christy, about how to play guitar and to sing. Now, the three of them are forced to rebuild themselves. Their loyalty to the band, themselves, and music is tested with the arrival of their new drummer as they all struggle with their own personal challenges. Will they be able to pull through? Will they be able to listen to their souls, themselves, without all the extra noise and pressure of the world around them? TW: This story contains mature themes, including: mentions of self-harm, suicide, non-sexual nudity, guilt, grief, loss, depression, alcoholism, neglect, body dysmorphia, smoking, Christianity, and underage drinking. This story is not intended to glorify these things in any way, it is meant to address these issues as the characters learn to navigate past them. This story is about more than just this, though -- this story is dedicated to my love of rock music, and the healing powers music can have. The panic attacks just keep coming and the compulsions only get worse throughout the Summer. Sarah starts to wonder if she could ever find happiness again. With music being the only thing reminding her how to smile, she comes up with an idea to bring her family together again. Start a band.
