I wasn't supposed to be here. I was a figment of his imagination, pulled out from the recesses of his mind. He had called to me from his dreams, pulled me out of my own personal hell, and thrust me into his world,where nobody else mattered...except for him and I. He stood high up on the glass balcony, staring down at me with his cat-like eyes, cold and unattainable, calling to me. All roads had been leading to him, all along.
He needed a reader, they said, and he had picked me, somehow.
"Take any form-drive me mad! Only do not leave me in this abyss, where I cannot find you!" We played cat and mouse...well, him being the deadly cat, mostly, like a modern day Heathcliff and Cathy pushing and pulling all the way.
"Get me off this seesaw, give me my life back" I begged.
"Not until you give me back mine..." he said softly, pulling me up off the floor.
I should never had met him, this was not real and like the mythical ravens that tied us together, we had conjured up a dream of each other.
