Ella was sitting down in the living room when an advert for a product called 'Happy Pills' popped up on screen. She had seen this ad a few times and knew the words off by heart. "What do you do when life fails you? What do you do when everyone hates you? You head down to the shop and you search the shelves. you find the packet with the brightly coloured seashells, you buy it then when you get back home you pop a few pills and let the happiness roam!" Once the advert is finished Ella can't help but wonder how much better life would be with the Happy pills. So she got up and got ready. She needed to buy the groceries for her family anyways. She would just pick up a pack or two and try them out. What could go wrong? This is a book I made a few years ago but I fell like publishing it now, I am looking for feedback as this is one of my first books

"I've realized, over the past few years of high school, that people are like vampires. They suck your dignity, self-confidence, and your self-esteem right out of your body, like it's blood. They infect you with the poison of hatred, greed, and selfishness. You can't escape their venom, as it's always there, lurking in the darkness, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. I've learned to deal with the sting of the bite, as it never goes away. I tried to not be infected, but the poison spreads like a wildfire, eating away at every inch of your body, until you disintegrate into nothing, and you're forgotten." 🏅achievements🏅 as of 12/30 - ranked #68 in suicideawareness as of 12/30 - ranked #888 in anxiety
