Lovers

I look around at the board of head office members. They are all OLD as Hell. I feel someone's eyes on me. I turn my head and meet that furious and captive gaze. I know that face. I quickly turn my head and move a bit closer to my father. I'm just really not getting the positive feeling from him. I regret it when I forced my father to take me to his company's annual party. My father greets some people and also introduces me to them. The party didn't break its flow of being boring. Suddenly, my father takes my hand and we start walking towards some tables. It's his table. He is talking to his security guard. He is not looking towards us. We stood in front of his table. He still didn't turn. Completely ignoring us. I feel humiliated.
"Hi, Mr. ALAN STEVE. It's good to see you. I didn't know you could also come early to the gatherings". My father said giving his as always gentle smile.
"There are many things you don't know about me". He said as his face turned towards us. For a mere second, he looks at my father but then he sees me behind my father's shoulder. I look up and find him again staring at me. I'm not a shy person but I don't like him. He shamelessly stared at me while he knew my father was beside me.
I pull my dad's sleeve. Signing him to let's go.
Hi, He said sliding his head to the right side to see me.
"She is my daughter IKIS". My dad pulls my hand to make me come forward.
I just look up and nod my head, then look down again.
Suddenly, we hear a voice from another corner calling my dad. It's his boss. I thank God in my heart. As we walk away, I can still feel his burning gaze. I hope to never meet this freakish, shameless person again.
But he has some other plans.
