Josephine Rhodes has always been the same. Sweet, dependable, and the life raft that held the Pogues together. But even she might not be able to keep them afloat anymore. With John B doing his best impression of a human car crash, her dad harboring secrets that could blow everything apart, and danger lurking around every corner, all bets are off. Now, Josephine has to survive a summer of a whole lot of bad decisions without losing her dad, her friends, or her mind. And worst of all? savannah, jj maybank
complete * the outer banks, paradise on earth. it's the place where you either have two jobs or two houses. two tribes, one island. that's jj, my best friend since first grade. he's about as local as they come. latest in a long line of fishing, drinking, smuggling, and vendetta-holding salt-lifers who made their living off the water. best surfer i know. just don't tell him i said that. mild kleptomaniac and a future tax cheat. and that's kiara, or kie, as we call her. when she's not saving turtles, or listening to bob marley, or getting a dolphin tattoo, she hangs out with us. i'm not really sure why, though. she's a rich kid, actually. foot in both worlds. her family owns the wreck, an outer banks institution. that's pope, the brains of the operation... finalist for the lucas t. vanderhorst merit scholarship. and the smartest person i know. little bit of a weirdo. finally, we have savannah. you know, her, jj and i all met in the 1st grade...and sav, well, she's the kind of girl you want by your side, even though she's probably the one getting you in trouble in the first place. jj x oc | friends to loversKumpleto

The first two parts are in my book Unbreakable. "We were never the kind of people who get each other in the end." This story is for everyone unhappy with season 4's ending. A story of all the drama that could follow JJ without the treasure hunting. ----------------------------------- Months have passed since Callie left the Outer Banks behind-since she walked away from JJ, from everything they had, and everything they lost. Now back on the island, Callie needs to come back to her old life without making the same mistakes. But have JJ and Callie really gotten over each other? And can they stay friends without hurting each other? As the summer heat settles in, unresolved feelings bubble to the surface. They've both tried to move on, but gravity has its own rules. Now, Callie must decide: is the past something you leave behind, or something you fight for? In this story I try to capture the wild, messy beauty of falling for someone you can't seem to let go. *Includes mature content such as mental health, sexual mentions, violence and more.* *This story will not follow the plot of the Outer Banks series* *I only own my character and her story* [ fem oc x jj maybank ]

❝Oh, Oakley. . . What have you done?❞ Well, they say it's best to start at the beginning, but when the story gets so twisted and out of hand, who really knows where the beginning starts? The Outer Banks is not the paradise Earth talks about. It's nowhere near the Eden, and it's oceans hide the stories that lie underneath it with such ferocity no one has ever dared defy it to uncover the truth. No one ever expects a book not to end in a happily ever after. We're never warned about the possible turn in events, so we always expect the sun to shine once more and the dead to rise again. But like in every other story, nothing can always go well. And this wouldn't be a book if it had always been doomed to have a merry climax and an even merrier ending. And the island is about to realize that we should never trust anyone. Not even ourselves- Much less ourselves. That danger hides where you least expect it. The story of the Pogues is about to become the story of the paradisiacal island of the Outer Banks. Oakley Clifton is about to realize that love will always overpower every feeling inside her body. And JJ Maybank is about to find out that he truly, honestly needs nothing more than one soul to swim through the tsunami of the mayhem. Unconsciously, the Pogues learn that love goes beyond anything they've ever known. And it becomes all they know. BOOK 2 OF THE "THE MESS WE'VE MADE" SERIES.Kumpleto
