Captain America: Red, White, and Blue

Steve Rogers, a young ill man from Brooklyn, New York seeks to aid his country in World War II but is at first denied however one day Steve and his best friend James "Bucky" Barnes attend a Stark Industries Expo where they show off the Super Soldier Serum which they've worked on in tandem with the United States Government in which they both in-list in the war, Bucky is accepted but Steve is not, after Steve has a run-in with Howard and the creator of the S.S.S. Abraham Erskine and is offered to be the primary test subject of the new Super Soldier Program to increase his strength and durability and finally make him fit to be a Soldier, however after the death of Erskine and the loss of the rest of the Serum, US Senator Brandt sets him up to don a colourful suit and become Captain America to promote War Bonds and for Wartime Entertainment but also stand by to become a soldier in the war
