Melisa hunts down bandits to save her older Brother Agustus and her younger sister Belia. In the process she finds a golden peice. At first she thought it was an amulet she can sell for a large amount of Denars. Days after she rescues her siblings She asked around all of Calradia about the Amulet with some helpful information that will make her richer then most lords. She makes her plans to sell it with an woman loyal to the Calradian Empire named Istiania. She conforms to Melisa that it was more valuable without selling for money. Istiania tells her that amulet she possesses a piece of the long lost Dragon Banner. A relic of Calradian dominance, she is told that a bandit camp hold another peice . Melisa raids the bandit camp for the Dragon Banner Piace however, the last missing fragment would complete the assembly. She tries to find the last fragment in the Battanian Forrest finding a man who seek to use the Empire's Civil War to destroy her home land. Arzagos knew where the last Dragon Banner fragment and agrees to help her find it if she only agreed to use the symbol of Calradain dominance to bring the Empire to it's knees. She attacks another bandit camp to assemble the Drangon Banner. This gives Melisa an idea to claim rights to the throne of the divided Empire. She meets with Istania to build her own faction. She marches to take Jogurys Castle for herself against Southern Empire. But that would be enough for her as she declares war on the Khuzaits to expand her newly formed Eastern Empire. The news of the Malisa's actions enranged Arzagos to conspire against her to stop her at all costs.

When her father returned, the raiders were gone, the village was burning, and only the youngest of his children remained, her world shattered. Zalika could not have imagined there was anything left to take from her until her father's grief drove him to something that could not be undone and would take what remained of her childhood, her future, and her humanity. What happens when the Phoenix does not want to be reborn? Zalika, changed by magic intended to bring her mother back from the dead, is left to find out. This is a fantasy, but I have worked to get the history correct with some creative license to tell the story. About this time, the Dutch Africans conducted their last raid up into what is now Kenya. The War of Spanish Succession is feeding the golden age of piracy. By the end of the story, that war will end, and the Spanish Inquisition will begin. My characters have no important role in any of these, but they must live with the opportunities and consequences of a war that touched most of the world. There are no graphic descriptions of sex anywhere in this story. This is an adventure story and includes violence and cruelty. This was written without AI. I do use computer proofreading tools that use AI. I don't know of any that don't use AI.

Anyways, the one person who Hecate know that has gone through the most heartbreak, trauma, and betrayal and that is still sane is... Nico Di Angelo.
