Praktik Kerja Lapangan (PKL) jurusan Desain Komunikasi Visual (DKV) memberikan kesempatan bagi mahasiswa untuk menerapkan teori dan keterampilan desain yang telah dipelajari dalam konteks industri nyata. Selama PKL, mahasiswa akan terlibat dalam berbagai proyek desain, mulai dari pembuatan materi promosi seperti brosur dan poster hingga desain digital seperti situs web dan aplikasi. Pengalaman ini bertujuan untuk menghubungkan pengetahuan akademis dengan praktik profesional yang nyata.

PKL, mahasiswa akan bekerja di bawah bimbingan profesional di perusahaan desain atau agensi kreatif, yang memungkinkan mereka untuk memperoleh pemahaman mendalam tentang proses desain, manajemen proyek, dan interaksi dengan klien. Mahasiswa akan terlibat dalam kegiatan seperti brainstorming ide, pembuatan prototipe, revisi desain, dan presentasi hasil kerja, serta belajar menggunakan berbagai perangkat lunak desain yang relevan.
