Vacation.
Another definition for the word would be, holiday.
A vacation is something Error has been wanting to take the moment their glitching calmed down allowing them a steadier mind, all the while trying to find who they used to be before everything happened to them.
The Weird is something usually left unexplained due to how rare it is to come by, affecting things occasionally. It just so happens that standing in certain areas of the Anti-Void attracts this phenomenon, causing certain things to be caught within the magnetic lines and dragged to its source.
How does Error know this?
They accidentally stepped onto one of these invisible lines while in the Anti-Void, finding a dimensional weak point that drags them to a small town they are now trapped in due to a natural law that exists as a component of this world. Great.
Then the thought, why not make this a vacation... for a couple of decades?

A Miscalculation In Space
He knows he'll be dooming them if he falls, but he's tired, his body is breaking apart, held together on a higher being's whim only. He wonders if there'll be another to replace him. He wonders if there will be none. It's rather silly, really, since he won't even be around to witness that. The crowd, the rage and bloodthirst palpable in the air will ensure that. If he does not fall on his own, others will force him to. Or, in other words, the typical start of Error being forced to jump into the Void one way or another, in this case into the NaJ universe! Who are you really?
Today is a big day, "why?" You might ask, well today the biggest threat to the multiverse, to the creator the the multiverse, has been caught, Error, the destroyer of Worlds himself, was going to be judged, but how can they do that wen he can't even remember anything about himself? Well maybe one thing, an abandoned AU, a lab, a dungeon, pain, and a stack of Memory tapes, these tapes were used to store people's memories, making the person lose all memory of that event, and they were all of Error, and Core Frisk. Everything they new about Error was shattered, and What Error and Core Frisk new about themselves. So Error? 𝑾𝒉𝒐 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚? Core frisk will have They/Them pronouns. So Many Universes, So Many Possibilities
After falling into the void, Error lands in a different multiverse. He saves two little babybones from the clutches of Gaster, and meets the protector of this multiverse. But, it doesn't go well. He freaks out and throws himself into the void once again, the children following behind him. It is then Destiney realizes that the multiverse was too similiar, with too many familiar abusers. But where could she send him? A minigod talks to her about multiverses in need of rescuing. She agrees to help her out, sending Error to them, the inhabitants all becoming very protective of Error. Error's old universe, after learning that they needed him but not why, travel to the universe he was in at the time to capture him. But, with how many friends he has made, they might want to reconsider their decision. For Error was hurt just as a lot of them was, and they will protect him with everything they have. I'm not sure if this description was that good, I suck at descriptions. This is based off Harris6's Falling Into A Different Destiny and their concept of Forced Destroyer. Please, if you haven't seen any of their books do go check them out. It is definitely worth it. I do not own anything except for the OC's I include and if I add a certain world to this. So I have been given permission to write this from Waffurupanson. Check out their book Sleepwalker. It's REALLY REALLY good! I read it twice. An AU where Error is not conscious with his destruction. He's asleep during it. On a conscious level, he's never left the Anti-Void. As a result, he's clueless. Side note: all characters and art belong to their respectful owners. Summary: He didn't know who this being was or how they found him but they were scaring him to the point he was going to cry. The last think he remembered was being in the Anti-Void and then waking up here with this living being. He just wants to go back to his Anti-Void.Complete
