Maybe in the emptiness, I'll finally find a way to escape.
But I know I won't. I never do. The darkness is just another cage, another prison, and I'm trapped, with no way out. So I lie there, in the silence, in the darkness, and I wait. Wait for the next day, for the next alarm, for the next moment that will never come. And I wonder, is this all there is? Is this all there will ever be?
I'm so tired, tired of pretending, tired of trying, tired of everything. I just want it to stop, to end. I want to disappear, to fade away into nothing.

You don't believe me anyways. You don't see me throwing away my inhibitions or filling up my online shopping cart. You don't see me diving into new life goals and careers and areas of study. No one speaks up to stop the horror happening to you. The nightmare continues on uninterrupted and you're forced to live through it, every second, until it's done. And still no one bares witness. so, I've been struggling for a long time now, and I never told anyone about it. I've never opened up. but I met someone who understands how I feel, and I'm beginning to feel again. I don't know how to do it, but I finally feel I can fight. I've been so exhausted. I'm not better, I'm not sure if i ever will be, but I'm not numb, not entirely. I can't say how I'm feeling, or what i am going to write, but if you want it, it's here. This is for you. For everyone who was made to be the villain by those meant to be by their sides.
