Sakshi Singh, a girl who had always believed she was cursed, grew up surrounded by people who insisted otherwise. They told her she was blessed, that she had everything she needed to be happy. But deep inside, Sakshi felt an unshakable darkness, a weight that pulled her down, no matter how hard she tried to rise above it. Was she truly cursed, or was it the silent, suffocating grip of depression that no one around her could understand?

As she journeyed through life, she often wondered if there would ever be a moment when someone would see beyond her scars and stay by her side. Could anyone love her despite the traumas that made her feel unworthy of love? Sakshi longed for that connection, for someone who would stand by her, even when her own fears tried to push them away.

But in the depths of her despair, a tiny flicker of hope remained-a hope that, one day, she might find someone who would love her, not in spite of her pain, but because of the strength she had gained from enduring it. Would that day ever come? Only time would tell, but until then, Sakshi held on to that fragile hope, the one thing that kept her moving forward, even when the darkness threatened to consume her.

We are going to see this story from the perspective of Kashi Princess Amba who longed to marry King Shantanu and Ganga Putra Bhism but was brutally rejected by him for several times. What will happen if a 21st century girl, student of Psychology, suddenly discovered herself reincarnated as Princess Amba? What was she had to find herself amidst the political turmoil of India when the fate of a girl was already decided by her patiarchial society long before her birth? Why she went after Bhism after being rejected repeatedly? Would her own 21st century mindset be helpful for her or put prove to be an obstacle in her road? The pressing question was could she change the well known destiny of Princess Amba or not? This is my third story on Mahabharata series. I like this fiesty warrior princess for her struggle through her two different births to avenge her insult. This story is very close to my heart. The time set of this fictional story was both ancient age of India at the time of Mahabharata and also 21st century. This is my original unpublished fan- fiction type story. I did not want hurt anyone's feelings. I just try to unravel the inner psychology of Kashi state's beautiful Princess Amba after rejection by Bhism and her simultaneous transformation to Sikhandini and Sikhandi. My story is loosely based on Mahabharata but in most part of my imagination. All the pictures are taken from the public domains. Images courtesy: Google Chrome and Pinterest.

An amorous tale which is not one of grand romantic gestures or picture-perfect moments. It was woven through time, stitched together with silent promises, unspoken feelings, and an unbreakable bond that endured separation, pain and the weight of the past. A girl, who is a war journalist, had spent years witnessing the horror of battlefield, carrying the weight of lost lives and shattered dreams. The war in zahran had taken more from her than she could ever put into words - her peace, her friends and a part of herself she feared she could never reclaim. When she returned, broken and distant, she had one instinct - to run. An she did. Leaving behind him, the only constant she had ever know, without a single goodbye. He searched for her, never giving up, never forgetting. The six years of her absence had changed him too. One night, she returned, but wasn't the same. She carried nightmares in her eyes and scars on her soul. He never once asked her why she left- he just chose to stay. He let his presence speak louder than words, offering her the patience, the space and the quiet love. Their love wasn't rushed. It wasn't dramatic. It was real - formed in the depths of understanding, in the warmth of silent support, in small things that meant everything. It was love that had endured war, separation and time. And in the end, it was love that found it's way back home. Because love like theirs wasn't meant to be lost - it was meant to be fought for.

To desire simplicity feels like weakness. Yet, deep down, that's all she wants-something real, something safe. Karna, born a suta but kshatriya by heart, is a man who defied everything society forced upon him. Humiliated, cursed, and denied his rightful place, all he ever longed for was to learn weaponry-archery, his true calling. Though denied by every royal and guru, he carved his own path, mastering the art despite them all. Now, he seeks the respect and glory he's been denied, determined to claim his place in Hastinapur, the very kingdom that rejected him. He's no longer just a man-he's an enigma, a force of sheer will. But what happens when Karna, through mysterious forces, arrives in Advika's house? In a clash of instinct and fear, she attacks first, questions later. Their worlds, separated by centuries and desires, suddenly collide. One seeking peace, the other seeking glory. Both wanting the impossible. Advika wanted a simple life after the storms of her past. Though their lives are worlds apart, something powerful connects them, pulling them into a moment neither can explain. Two souls, bound by destiny, stand before each other in an era foreign to them both. And as they each seek what they desire most, one truth becomes clear-when the universe conspires to grant your deepest wishes, there's always a price. The question is: at what cost?
