Vanessa Donovan is a closed off, monotone girl with a dark past, that no one other than her knows all of. She's also incredibly smart, with an IQ of 189 and a photographic memory. At the ripe old age of 13, she'd graduated highschool, had 2 masters, and a doctorate. At 16 she ran away from her dad and 2 brothers.

She'd been on the run for 2 weeks before she found herself in Hawkins, Indiana. Back in highschool. Turns out, when you fake your name, your credits don't transfer. Because of her past, and where she came from, she'd learned a lot of things she shouldn't have, although they've definitely come in handy. She's a millionaire. From cons, to robbery, drug dealing, you name it, she's probably tangled somewhere in it. Everything she shouldn't know could make money is how she makes a living. she's saving up for a rainy day. what she didn't know, was she would choose to hide in a town with nothing but rainy days. Will her past catch up to her? Will the people she left behind? Will she end up falling in love? Or will she push her feelings aside in true, 'Nessi' fashion. Read to find out.
