After the war against the diabolical and mortal Hel, the Twelve Knights brought eternal peace to the world. After 118 years, in the kingdom of Nycteria, inhabited by drakul, Viktor, the son of the king, is forced into an arranged marriage, despite his heart belongs to another. It is revealed that the promised woman is a servant of her uncle Beltharion, who is eager for the throne. After his failed attack on the palace, he is exiled and his companion executed.
