This is a story concept regarding one of the most important Sith lords in Star Wars lore, and yet was never given a story of his own. Darth Ruin, once a member of the Jedi Council, broke away from the Jedi and formed the New Sith, which submerged the Galaxy in countless wars and eventually gave rise to Darth Bane and the Rule of Two. The story concept takes place in EU/Legends. It was written by a STAR WARS fan so that other STAR WARS fans may enjoy.

Among the two empires, there are many in the Sith Empire that call for war, openly preaching their hatred for the "fakes" and the "false empire" that shames the name "Sith"... One of these individuals, is a man called Kyran Xovia, the son of Grand Emperor Malidictus, and is the prince of the empire, often referred to as "Darth Dreadis", or, "The Black Wind", due to his ability to galvanize people, and his innate darkness that shines through the night sky. Hating the Galactic Empire with a passion that is more fiery than even his own Father's hatred of it, Ky decides to make a stand against it...by joining, the Rebellion. Specifically with a group called..."The Ghost crew". After a mission on Lothal, things start to get a LOT more complicated...for the young Sith Lord... All is well. And yet, the fighting doesn't seem to be over. A deeply wounded Republic, left reeling from a war orchestrated by its own leader, desperately needs someone to blame for the all the death and chaos in the Galaxy, the deception by the Sith and the suffering across the systems. With the true perpetrator dead, it eventually sets its sight on the Jedi and turns its back on them. The Jedi themselves, exhausted by the long years of battle and hardships, don't defend themselves while the Clones watch horrified as the ones who stood by their side throughout all the horror and bloodshed are scorned and shunned by the very thing they swore to protect.

It wouldn't be until he was discovered by a certain task force of Jedi during the late first year of the clone wars that his wrath would be unleashed upon the galaxy once more, to either bring an end to the Jedi, or to the sith....
