Rayne is from Rovalia. Everyone who talks to him is scared by his shadows, which are so powerful they hurt even him. When he is sent to Eldarosa to fight there, he meets a girl. The girl he's been seeing in his dreams for weeks.
When their paths meet, they are wary of each other. But something happens, and suddenly, to Rayne, running away from his home country doesn't seem like such a bad idea. And for Amaya, she finally has a reason to live.
