This fanfiction is loosely based on the game "Swooning over Stans" by sovonight on itch.io, please be sure to go show them your love and support!! A good portion of the dialogue is used from the game, as well as sections and changes that were added to farther the original character's story.

Alice Dupont drove into Gravity Falls to get away.
Leaving her home in Hartford, Connecticut, 41-year-old Alice finds herself deep in the tourist-riddled woods of Gravity Falls. Hoping to heal from the pain of her divorce and losing custody of her daughter, she settles in the small town when her car is destroyed by a pair of eccentric twins and their great-niece and nephew. Despite escaping her rocky marriage, Alice grows close to Stanford Pines, the time-hopping man himself, and finds she is smiling more than she has in a long time.
Can Alice let herself fall in love with the bachelor of the hour? Or will she stumble out of Gravity Falls empty handed.

This story takes place during the events of the time traveller's pig during Dipper and Mabel's chase through time. Mabel makes a mistake that leaves the twins stranded in a snow storm. The two then discover secrets and revelations they were never meant to know yet. At first, they think there is no harm done, but they soon discover that knowing something too soon can cause consequences in the future and now they must decide if they want to keep the future they have created, or go back to the one they left behind.
