That's the question Catra's been asking herself, for years. With her shallow savings and never-ending shifts, Catra struggles to relish the one piece of joy in her life - fashion.
When Adora steps in, perfect life in tow, Catra thinks she's figured her out. Ambitious, motivated, and charming. Surely someone like Adora has everything in her favour...right?

Adora called out across the ice, feeling as if she was floating on air. It was a strange sense of euphoria, the wind biting her skin and the vast sea of stars above her. It almost felt surreal.
