That's the question Catra's been asking herself, for years. With her shallow savings and never-ending shifts, Catra struggles to relish the one piece of joy in her life - fashion.

During the battle, she's injured and is left behind by the Horde army. Adora gets rescued by two rebells: princess Glimmer and her best friend, Bow. Despite Bow's better judgement, Glimmer tries to makes Adora understand that the Horde is evil. In the night, the girl sneaks away and gets lost in the Whispering Woods, where she finds a mysterious sword. (This a She-ra rewrite. TW for Yandere, abusive themes, dark themes, cartoon/mild gore, victim blaming, "Stockholm syndrome" (not a thing but you get the idea. The attachment and identifying with one's captor/kidnapper for one's own survival) etc. This originally was a "yandere catra x adora" fanfiction but became something more personal for me. An outlet for obsessive thoughts and trauma and such. I do not recommend this work of fiction to minors. In fact, I advise against it as themes may become less than appropriate as the chapters go on.
