In the not-so-distant future, humanity develops the Omega Catalyst-a groundbreaking device engineered to unlock supernatural abilities and channel unimaginable energy. But during a moment of chaos, a violent uprising triggers a critical malfunction. A single spark ignites a catastrophic chain reaction, unleashing an explosion that shatters civilization in an instant. The earth is left devastated, transformed into a scorched wasteland, with remnants of the old world buried beneath layers of ash and ruin.

From the ruins, a strange aftermath unfolds: the few who survived find themselves altered, their bodies now channels for intense, untamed deadly vessels. As they traverse this brutal wasteland, they confront not only the savage mutated beasts caused by the Catalyst's destructive force but also scattered government factions desperate to seize control. In a world where survival hinges on their vessels and instincts, the survivors must tread carefully, battling both creatures warped by the blast and authorities who see them as unpredictable weapons to be subdued. Every encounter becomes a test, as they forge a path through the dangers-and legacies-left in the Omega Catalyst's wake.

60 parts Complete Mature
"It's human nature. It's instinct to survive, no matter the cost." The world has fallen into desolation. The apocalypse has already started and finished, leaving some of the surviving ones with strange powers and mysterious scars. The world has ended, according to some, and is now in a state of rebirth. Others say it hasn't ended yet and that it's only going to get worse. The remaining people have grouped together in packs and gangs, raiding the desolate cities and avoiding the ones called the Destroyers, who capture and torture the remaining survivors. No one is safe. One fifteen year old boy knows this better than anyone. He and his older sister lived together, sticking to the dark alleys of their abandoned city, and survived for years after the apocalypse, until the Destroyers came and took her away, reigning terror on the few who remained in the city. The boy, desperate to find someone to help him save his sister, leaves the city and finds one of the youngest cooperative packs in North America, called the Raiders, comprised of unwanted individuals with the strange powers left from the destruction of years past. Their leader, a destructive insomniac, promises to help him in return for the skills and usefulness this young boy seems to possess, but something disrupting sends waves of unease through the Raiders, something about a forgotten past and talk of a mutiny. "Maybe there's more to life than just surviving." ... Rated C for Caution. Though it's rated mature, there is no bad language or vivid descriptions of sexual contact. It does have very strong themes. Please read the two important notices in the intro. Read at your own risk. Thanks. ***Completed*** If you knew your world would soon be torched to carbon, would you fight to save it? ...Or light a match of your own? Violina, a girl polarized by love and loathing, finds herself thrown into a post-apocalyptic world with mankind on the brink of extinction. Discovering the means to travel back in time, she teams up with the ever-optimistic, pun-loving Lux and sets out to prevent the apocalypse from ever happening in the first place. But as her crusade advances, she becomes increasingly disturbed by humanity's apparent *lack* of humanity and comes to a frightening realization: To build a new world, she must first tear the old one down. Inevitable Ascension-The twisted jigsaw puzzle of a story with equal parts rapid-fire action, humor and charm. It's got a host of twists that will literally make your brain explode! Actually not literally, you know, because otherwise that would be really gross. Who is V.K. McAllister? We're a husband/wife duo (Andrew and Sasha McAllister) with a unique approach to writing. We work simultaneously and in secret before combining what we come up with, resulting in dramatic and unexpected twists that surprise even us! Crazy? Yes, yes it is, but it's surprisingly fun and effective. :) We pretty much live for the Inevitable Ascension series and did just about everything ourselves-the writing, the editing, the publishing, the art (well, Andrew did the art, but Sasha provided invaluable consulting when it came to eyebrows), the audio book, the trailer-everything. We're basically a one-man band, except with two people... and no music... so perhaps not the best metaphor, but we're confident you get what we mean. [OLD PREVIEW] The Supers Experiment (#1)

6 parts Complete

[STORY HAS BEEN REBOOTED] Ivy just burned her boarding school to the ground, but that's the least of her problems. People are chasing her, the government wants to lock her up, and a group called Scorpion wants to recruit her. Ivy quickly learns that she isn't alone in the world. There are other kids like her. Kids with powers. They are known as the Supers, and now it's up to them to stop Scorpion. The fate of the country, and possibly the planet, depends on it. The Supers don't know it yet, but the whole world is about to change. They've become a part of something much bigger than an experiment gone wrong, or a fight for power, or the strange and sinister organizations trying to use the Supers for their own purposes. Something that could be bigger than the universe itself. // Completed Word Count: ~62,000 Cover by me Read more on my website: http://auroranelson.weebly.com/ Watch the trailer here: https://youtu.be/Uze4_QjdyYM Check out the pinterest board: https://www.pinterest.com/auroranelson28/the-supers-experiment/
