A Serpentine Endearment

Alternate universe of Edward Cullen's story. He is the adoptive child of two of the richest people in his time. The year is 1922, Edward is finally twenty one, and is beginning to work more often at his adoptive father's business. One of the family maids, Josephine Parke, begins to suspect Edward for a murder, alongside her observation of his odd behaviours of recent. She has no idea, however, that he has become something far too powerful to persecute nor halt. Love finds itself, though, and Josephine soon realises why she had come so close to discovering Edward's vicious activities, and had been left alive.
