In a desolate, post-apocalyptic landscape, Spark scavenges among the rubble, desperate to find food or any sign of life. Her search takes a dangerous turn when she injures herself on a sharp piece of metal, only to discover a first-aid kit, likely fallen from the mysterious StarShip hovering in the sky above. Returning to camp, she receives treatment from Fern, the healer, and shares her meager find with her best friend, Crow. As the camp struggles with dwindling supplies and the looming threat of winter, Spark begins to question the StarShip's true nature, wondering why its inhabitants remain aloft while her people endure hardship below. A tense encounter with a rattlesnake during a morning hunt only deepens her unease. As night falls, Spark's dreams are haunted by visions of armored figures from the StarShip descending upon them. Her doubts grow, and she shares a quiet conversation with the camp elder, Thorn, who suggests that their people might have been cast out from the StarShip generations ago. With these unsettling thoughts lingering, Spark's curiosity about the StarShip and her place in this harsh world intensifies.
When the truth comes out, there's nowhere left to run.
