With other religions having taken over, Celesnian mythology was something that no one no longer worshiped in, causing the last effort of Caelia - the goddess of creation, to make all the gods souls transfer onto human vessels called hosts, as a last ditch effort.

Having spent 99 lives attempting to find followers to gain power, Caelia, now known as Psyche, decides on spending her 100th life by steering off course and rather attempting to look at what humans and the other hosts have actually been doing throughout her absence.
