It has been three years since the events of Kingdom hearts 3. Xehanort was defeated, everything went back to normal. Now Sora, Donald, Goofy, Riku, King Mickey and Kairi must face a new threat. They call themselves the Shin Akuma (Lone Demon).
They must journey deep into Shin Akuma territory and strike at the heart of their leader, who turns out to be none other than Sephiroth, Cloud Strife's and Sora's arch nemesis. In order to defeat him, they must use their power to bring back previous keyblade wielders, including Terra, Aqua, Ventus, Roxas and Naminé. Will they be able to defeat Sephiroth for the final time?
