It has been one year since Galaxara, the formidable figurehead of the Cosmic Armada, ruthlessly eliminated almost all life on Earth and claimed the planet itself for the spacefaring band of conquerors. From man to woman, young to old, and wealthy to poor......practically none were spared from the titan's wrath. Not even the planet's protectors-the Paragons-or their allies were safe. All that remains now are the quickly-decaying remains of civilization, which are already starting to become overrun by nature once again. 

The only survivor of Galaxara's ruthless onslaught-and the last remaining member of humanity overall-is one of the world's very first superheroes, Hailey a.k.a. The Viper. Having barely escaped the figurehead's initial purge with her life, the serpentine superheroine has been forced into hiding from the Cosmic Armada's replenished forces as she struggles to find a way to bring back everyone and reverse Galaxara's decimation.

As she remains holed up in her superhero lair, the Fang Sanctum, trying to figure out the Cosmic Armada's secrets, the conquerors' army has increased-both in number and capability-by the day. But after an unprecedented series of new attacks ends up giving The Viper a lead to a potential method of undoing Galaxara's damage, she must embark on her biggest mission yet to defeat the Armada's figurehead for good, erase her act of genocide, and restore everyone who was lost......whatever it takes.
