High school in South Korea can be brutal. There are cliques just like in any high school in any part of the world. It's because high school teenagers are brutal. They "feel" so much more than most other age groups, most of the time. Stress, fear, anxiety, self-consciousness... and anger, all boiled together in the accommodating pot that is high school.

This is especially brutal for Dong Yul, a transfer student from the countryside. He's afraid, at first, but making friends has never been hard for him. He believes that as long as he shows his true colors from day one, he'll have no problem enduring high school's brutality.

The students Ae Chin (meaning 'precious love') and Ju Kwan (meaning 'red wall') make it hard for him. They make his transfer feel like a mistake, but maybe along the way, that helps him see that the wrong train can still take you to the right station...

Pt. 2 of my book "Filthy Insults!" Although you DO NOT have to read the first book to understand this one, all the lore will be explained anyway! •=•=•=•=• Two years after Minho's impulsive confession, life has taken both him and Chan in different directions. Chan is in Florida for the summer, visiting his extended family, when he sees a boy who looks uncannily like his high school crush, Lee Minho. But this Minho is different-older, more handsome, and radiating a quiet confidence that Chan never thought he'd see. Gone is the angry, bitter boy who once "bullied" him; this Minho has friends, a new life, and an unexpectedly softer side that Chan can't ignore. But it's not just Minho who has changed. Chan's life since high school has been far from easy. Caught up in dangerous situations, his once carefree nature has been replaced by guilt, regret, and the scars of bad choices. As Minho's newfound kindness pulls him in, Chan is forced to confront the darker parts of himself he's been hiding from, and the price of all the mistakes he's made. Now, the roles are reversed-Minho is no longer the troubled boy, and Chan isn't the innocent one. Their once fragile connection is now a tug-of-war between old emotions, new fears, and the undeniable pull of desire. As the summer heat escalates, so do the stakes, with blood on the beach marking both the literal and emotional battles they must face. Will Minho and Chan find a way back to each other, or are they too different now to reconcile the past with their future?

Between the Chords

34 parts Complete

In a world that often feels too sharp and too loud, two souls find solace in each other's quiet light. Hansol is a reserved film student carrying the heavy weight of a tragedy he's never fully spoken about-the loss of his mother in a hit-and-run accident that left him trapped in guilt and silence. Seungkwan, a warm-hearted music major with a bright, grumpy, and sassy spirit, lives by singing his feelings before he can say them aloud. When Hansol stumbles into Seungkwan's music-filled world, and Seungkwan unexpectedly appears in Hansol's shadowed life, their fragile connection begins to unravel the pain they both hide. As they navigate the slow, delicate dance of friendship, healing, and unspoken feelings, they discover that sometimes, the most broken voices can create the most beautiful harmony. This is a tender, slow-burn story of trauma, trust, and the courage it takes to open your heart-set against the backdrop of music, film, and the small moments that make us feel truly alive.
